What happens next
The inspector looks at the whole house, inside and out, takes measurements, and explains what those measurements mean. If the house needs work, the inspector walks you through why it's happening, what has been tried on houses like yours before, and what fixing the cause involves. A plan with costs is put together only if you ask for one. If the house doesn't need work, the inspector tells you that instead.
